George Strait will soon earn another impressive award for his already massive trophy collection.

The Texas troubadour will receive this year’s Cliffie Stone Icon Award at the 2017 ACM Honors ceremony. The honor is given to artists who “have advanced the popularity of the genre through their contributions in multiple facets of the industry such as songwriting, recording, production, touring, film, television, literary works, philanthropic contributions, and other goodwill efforts.”

Eric Church will receive the second Merle Haggard Spirit Award in history. According to the ACM press release, the 40-year-old country star was chosen for “crafting great songs and epitomizing Merle’s spirit through genuine performances and great storytelling.” Miranda Lambert received the inaugural award in 2016.

For her incredible humanitarian efforts, Dolly Parton will also receive the Gary Haber Lifting Lives Award. Her Dollywood Foundation’s My People Fund and Smoky Mountains Rise telethon helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for those affected by the Tennessee wildfires last year.

The 11th Annual ACM Honors will be held on Aug. 23, 2017 at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The event will be filmed to air at a later date on CBS.
