Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts' Bus Catches Fire

A weekend hunting trip in Louisiana for Rascal Flatts singer Gary LeVox went south after his bus' interior caught fire. Despite this setback, the pop-country star counted his blessings on social media because he and his brother Kevin exited the vehicle unscathed.

LeVox posted a video on Instagram on Sat., Jan. 7, showing the smoke billowing into the driver's area of his bus. The accompanying text added a positive spin on an incident that could've gone way worse. "It happened so quick and could have been a different story if the ammunition would have caught fire," he wrote. "What a way to start 2018. Thank you Lord for your covering this mornin (sic)!"

The singer's only posting since then shows his hunting gear safely stacked on the side of the highway. The gear and the bus' left exterior appear undamaged. Its caption reads, "Not where I was wanting to watch the sunrise."

It remains unclear whether the bus is used by Rascal Flatts. The trio has a few winter and spring dates booked, including a March 5 appearance at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. That booking, by chance, lands on the rodeo's First Responders Day, a celebration of firefighters and other specially-trained public servants.
