Garth Brooks will celebrate the launch of his brand new channel on Sirius XM with his first career performance at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.
Earlier this month, the country star announced “The Garth Channel,” which will broadcast exclusive content and music curated by Brooks. It also marks the first time Brooks’ music will be available 24/7 in one place, on radio or online.
To celebrate, Brooks has announced a special invite-only concert at the historic Ryman Auditiorium in Nashville, Tenn. on Sept. 8. SiriusXM listeners who have had an account since July 11 can win tickets to the event by calling in or entering online.
Brooks has been selling out massive arenas and stadiums on his current World Tour. This historic concert event will mark one of his most intimate shows in years.
“Just the thought of playing the Ryman is crazy,” Brooks said in a statement. “The fact that SiriusXM is going to capture the evening makes it even a bigger event for me.”
More information about the concert will be disclosed in the coming weeks. Until then, Brooks will be continuing his tour in Bossier City, La. before taking a much-deserved break from the road.
