It’s official – Garth Brooks is taking his world tour back to Texas this September.
On July 15, the country star announced he’ll return to Dallas for two performances, on September 18 and 19. Both shows, which will also feature Brooks’ wife Trisha Yearwood, will begin at 7PM. His stop at the American Airlines Center will mark the first time Brooks has played in Dallas in 17 years.
Tickets for the two shows will go on sale July 24 at 10AM CT on Ticketmaster or by phone at 1-866-448-7849 or 1-800-745-3000. Individual tickets cost $59.32, excluding tax and additional fees.
Over the weekend, Brooks played his last scheduled tour dates, in New Orleans, a city he had never played before in his career. It’s unclear if the superstar will add any more dates in the two-month span between now and his Dallas performances. His Dallas shows will coincide closely with the one-year mark since the kickoff of his massive world tour, The Garth Brooks World Tour with Trisha Yearwood, which sparked a comeback for Brooks, after going into retirement from the music industry for thirteen years.
