Four-Year-Old Girl Sings Martina McBride Song for Her Mom Battling Cancer

There are few things more adorable than little kids singing their heart out to their favorite song. This little girl’s special serenade had a much deeper emotional impact for her sickened mother.

In this video, you’ll see 4-year-old McKenna taking a moment to pay tribute to her cancer-stricken mother. As her mom sits and watches on, McKenna sings through Martina McBride‘s emotional track “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.” Her mother breaks down in tears and sings along with her daughter, obviously overcome by the thoughtful and incredible adorable act.

The song, which tells the story of a woman diagnosed with cancer, has brought comfort to a countless amount of country fans battling the disease. Earlier this year, the acclaimed high school chorus at PS22 in Staten Island, NY performed their own version of “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” to their beloved teacher who was battling cancer.

If this adorable video doesn’t bring at least one tear to your eye, you may want to get your pulse checked. Hopefully one day soon little McKenna will get to show off her musical skills to celebrate her mother’s complete recovery.
