Ready to meet the unluckiest person in the world? Florida resident Kyle Cook always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Cook was recently bitten by a rattlesnake, but that’s just the latest in a series of unfortunate events for him. When interviewed about the snake bite, Cook revealed that he has survived two other rare events during his lifetime.

The rattlesnake bite happened while Cook was mowing his lawn. When he spotted the snake, he decided to take a picture of it (okay, so maybe that wasn’t the best idea). The snake bit him twice in the leg before he was able to get away. He has since been treated and released from the hospital.

The man was also bitten by a brown recluse spider just a few months prior. His hand swelled up and he experienced excruciating pain. “It’s probably the top 3 worst pains in my life,” he tells Fox 13.

To top it all off, Cook was struck by lighting four years ago. He describes the pain as “Mike Tyson and a jack hammer hitting [him] right in the jaw.” The odds of being struck by lightning are nearly one in a million. So, the fact that it happened on top of the spider and snake bites seems like a true anomaly.

Cook, no longer surprised by his misfortune, is ready for the bad luck streak to end. As Cook tells Fox 13, “It needs to stop now.”
