Guys, this beaver is more on top of his Christmas shopping than me. How bad is it when a beaver is getting its Christmas shopping before you?
It’s bad.
But hey, kudos to this little guy, who a Maryland shopper spotted perusing the aisles of a Dollar Store. Yep, a Dollar Store. So he may be on top of his game, but he’s also kind of cheap.

According to WGZR, The beaver wandered into the Charlotte Hall Dollar Store and made his way around the wrapping paper and Christmas tree lights. A customer snapped a couple cute pictures of the little critter before calling the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. The office says they brought in Animal Control to successfully help the little guy make his way back to a wildlife rehabilitation center.

No word on if he was able to take care of all his shopping needs. Certainly seems like he’s in the holiday spirit, though. There’s also a decent chance he just wanted to get after those pine trees on the lighting box.

Nobody reported any injuries or serious damage, minus a few crumpled pieces of wrapping paper. But let’s be honest, that’s how wrapping paper is meant to end up anyways. ‘Tis the season!
