Eric Church, Willie Nelson and More to Play Inaugural American Roots Festival

Eric ChurchWillie Nelson and Sheryl Crow have been tapped to headline the first ever American Roots Festival in Raleigh, N.C.

The festival, which will be held Oct. 17 and 18, will also feature Chris Stapleton, the Roots, Modest Mouse, Warren Haynes, Grace Potter, Greensky Bluegrass, Leftover Salmon, Railroad Earth, the Tedeschi Trucks Band and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

“Raleigh has an energy that celebrates the best in music, food and arts, making it the perfect place to launch the American Roots Music & Arts Festival,” Blackbird Production Partners’ Keith Wortman said of the festival. “This incredible lineup, headlined by North Carolina’s own Eric Church, along with the Taste of Raleigh Food & Brews Celebration, will give music fans and the Raleigh community an unforgettable experience.”

Church is currently scheduled to play both nights of the festival. Additional acts will be announced over the coming weeks. Tickets for the American Roots Festival are on sale now and can be purchased online through Live Nation. Two-day passes are available for $79 and VIP packages can also be purchased for a limited time.
