Eric Church to Release ‘Mr. Misunderstood On the Rocks Live and (Mostly) Unplugged’

Exactly one year after Eric Church surprised fans with the release of Mr. Misunderstood, the “Kill a Word” singer-songwriter is dropping a brand new live album.

Mr. Misunderstood On the Rocks Live & (Mostly) Unplugged is Church’s first live album since his 2013 LP Caught in the Act: Live. This new release was recorded during Church’s recent performance at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colo.

The record features six tracks from Mr. Misunderstood, along with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.” Fans will be able to pick up the CD version of the release exclusively through Walmart beginning Nov. 4. A four-track, 10″ vinyl version will also hit stores on Nov. 25 for Record Store Day Black Friday.
