Brennen Leigh is a country, bluegrass and folk singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. She performs as a solo artist with her musical partner Noel McKay, and is also one-quarter of the bluegrass group High Plains Jamboree.

Originally from up north, Leigh has lived in Austin for several years. She is widely revered as an Americana artist, not only here in Austin, but around the country and abroad. Leigh has a gorgeous voice, and her songs blend clever lyrics with timeless traditional styles.

Brennen performs three songs today, two of which may be featured on her upcoming record with High Plains Jamboree. The third song is “Saginaw Michigan,” a Lefty Frizzell cover Leigh recorded for her tribute album, Brennen Leigh Sings Lefty Frizzell.
