Although peanut butter may initially seem to be an unlikely addition to a classic cheeseburger, the creamy condiment compliments the beef and bacon in a way that is sure to make your tastebuds immediately explode with happiness.
This easy-to-follow recipe, originally from Camp Chef, calls for smoked bacon, ground beef, jalapeno jelly, cheddar cheese, burger buns, peanut butter, maple syrup, milk, salt and pepper.

With spicy jelly on one end and sweet peanut butter on the other, this jam-packed burger is as flavorful they come. The smooth peanut butter also provides a great counter flavor to the crispy bacon.
To make four burgers, the recipe recommends the following quantities:
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 4-6 tablespoons of jalapeno jelly
- 4-8 slices of cooked bacon
- 4 burger buns
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
The peanut butter mixture is made by combining two cups of peanut butter with 1/2 cup maple syrup and anywhere between 1/2 to a full cup of milk (based on desired consistency). Microwave your peanut butter mixture for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until smooth.
