Drunk Farmer on Tractor Arrested for Christmas Eve Pizza Run

It's a well-known fact that a long night (or day) of drinking can result in some pretty intense junk food cravings. For a farmer in England, an irresistible urge for a hot pizza landed him behind bars.

According to Farmer's Weekly, a 26-year-old farmer named Luke Cockburn was detained by police on Christmas Eve after he hopped on his big green tractor and headed downtown to the local pizza shop. Unfortunately, Cockburn was far too intoxicated to be behind the wheel of any vehicle, much less some heavy machinery.

Before the drunk farmer could reach his destination, police pulled him over and cited him for driving while intoxicated. It may have seem like a good idea at the time, but this is exactly what pizza delivery services are for, folks. And although it makes for a great party story, risking others safety by following in the footsteps of the Possum for a quick meal definitely isn't worth the jail time.

H/T to Munchies.
