If you’ve been waiting for the moment you could re-watch Dolly Parton’s record-breaking Coat Of Many Colors television movie, you won’t have to wait much longer.

The critically-acclaimed film will be released to DVD on May 3, 2016. For the price of $19.98, fans will be able to enjoy Parton’s first television movie in the comfort of their own homes. The DVD also features an alternate ending of the film, highlights and other special behind-the-scenes footage from the film set.

Coat Of Many Colors stars Jennifer Nettles as Parton’s mother, Ricky Schroder as Parton’s father, and newcomer Alyvia Alyn Lind as 9-year-old Dolly Parton. Parton herself introduces the film and serves as the story’s narrator. The heartwarming, family-friendly film tells the story of how the Parton family struggled with the loss of Dolly’s unborn sibling, and how a patchwork coat made from the baby’s blanket helped bring them back together.

The dramatized biopic broke records by earning 13.2 million viewers during its Dec 10. premiere on NBC, making it the most watched television movie in the last three years. Due to public demand, NBC re-aired the film on Christmas Day and made it available to stream for a limited time through its website.
