Country superstar Dierks Bentley has added ten additional shows to his calendar and announced that his Somewhere on a Beach tour will continue into this fall. The second leg of the talent-packed tour will kick off in October.
“We’re about 30 shows in so far, and I feel like we are just getting started,” Dierks told Parade Magazine. “The songs from the new album are really connecting like nothing I’ve experienced before, the band and crew are in a great groove and we’re having the time of our lives out there.”
So far the tour has featured impressive openers like Cam, Tucker Beathard and Randy Houser. Dierks has the right idea: why stop if you’ve got a good thing goin’ on?
In addition to promoting his tour, Bentley is fresh off the release of his new single “Different for Girls,” which features Elle King. Furthermore, fans will be happy to see that the “Say You Do” singer isn’t slowing down despite the recent death of his beloved dog.
“We’re going to make summer last as long as possible out here on the ‘Beach,’” promised Dierks. Exact dates for the second half of the tour remain unknown at this point. Concertgoers, however, can still expect amazing talent from the tour’s opening acts. Dierks has announced that Drake White will be joining opening act Randy Houser for the second leg.
