Dierks Bentley continues to unravel a love triangle in his new video for “What the Hell Did I Say.”

The clip is the second in a series of three videos that play out the story between three characters ensnared in a romantic drama. The story, which began with his Maren Morris duet “I’ll Be The Moon,” shows what happens when the woman’s lover is left wondering what he told her during a drunk dial. When the woman’s boyfriend comes home to find her phone lit up with endless text messages from her lover, viewers are left to wonder how it will all play out.

“‘What The Hell Did I Say’ is a pretty rocking song off the record that a lot of people can relate to because we all know what happens when phones, alcohol and regrets mix together,” Bentley explains in a press release. “Everyone’s wondered what they may have said the night before or on a bender. The music helps balance out those feelings the next morning and I love the way [director] Wes [Edwards] was able to capture the turmoil of this song with three different perspectives.”
