Dierks Bentley has actively showed his appreciation and gratitude toward American soldiers, veterans and their families throughout his career.
Now, the country star is teaming up with CBS Radio for a special acoustic concert helping raise money for America’s heroes and their families.
The Stars and Strings concert event will be held Nov. 11, Veterans Day, at the Chicago Theatre and will feature performances from Bentley, as well as Gary Allan, Hunter Hayes, Jake Owen, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, Lee Brice, Little Big Town and The Band Perry. A portion of the proceeds raised will go to Folds of Honor, an organization providing educational support to children and spouses of wounded and fallen soldiers.
“The tickets are going to benefit the Folds of Honor, a foundation that is really important to me, that helps the children of deceased and wounded veterans go to college,” Bentley said in a statement. “It’s going to be fun – a chance to play country music, honor our veterans and raise money for a great cause. That’s awesome for me, and I feel lucky to be a part of it.”
Tickets will go on sale Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 AM CST through Ticketmaster. A special pre-sale for Chase cardholders will begin Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 1o AM. More information on the event can be found here.
