Dierks Bentley’s Somewhere On a Beach Tour has been attracting sold out crowds over the past few weeks, thanks in part to support from fellow chart-toppers Cam and Randy Houser. The trio of talented performers came together for a very special cover of an Eagles classic during one of their most recent tour stops.
If you’ve ever seen Bentley perform live, you’ll know he’s all about having a good time. After running through many of his own hits, he was loosened up enough to bring a carefree attitude to the Eagles’ classic anthem, “Take it Easy.”
Cam brings her powerhouse voice and sassy attitude to the second verse before she’s joined for the chorus by Bentley, who unfortunately comes in a little flat. Whether it was the loud crowd noise that affected him or a little too much cold beer during the night, he still manages to recover by using his energetic stage presence to keep things going.
Randy Houser brings the house down when he comes in on the final verse, truly paying tribute to the beloved original with his deep, rolling vocals. Although the performance had its bumps, it showcased the reasons why thousands of country fans pay big bucks to see Bentley live in concert – the fun atmosphere and great music.
