Dierks Bentley will join the cast of ABC’s hit drama Nashville to raise money for a good cause.
The Nashville for Africa benefit concert will be hosted by actress Connie Britton, and will feature performances from her Nashville co-stars Charles Esten, Jonathan Jackson, Clare Bowen, Sam Palladio, Chaley Rose, Will Chase, Aubrey Peeples and Chris Cormack.
The show’s musical director and Americana icon Buddy Miller, along with Mark Collie, Ingrid Michaelson and Damien Horne will also perform during the star-studded event to be held at the Ryman Auditorium on Feb. 15.
Proceeds raised from the one-night-only event will go toward the African Children’s Choir, who are also set to take the stage. Tickets are still on sale for $39.50, $59.50 and $120. Last year’s first annual fundraising concert, which was held at Nashville’s much-smaller 3rd and Lindsley concert venue, attracted a sold-out crowd.
The night will be one that is sure to attract many longtime Nashville fans, who are currently celebrating the news that the primetime drama will likely be renewed for a fifth season.
