Darius Rucker reunited with his band Hootie and the Blowfish for a special appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman.
The group performed “Hold My Hand,” the group’s debut single that launched them into stardom back in 1994. The performance came 20 years after Hootie and the Blowfish made their first appearance on Letterman’s show that will wrap production on May 20.
Hootie and the Blowfish haven’t released an album since 2005 and rarely perform outside of their yearly Homegrown charity concert event in South Carolina. Still, their performance shows that the band hasn’t lost the magic that’s helped them sell over 20 million albums since their debut.
You can catch Darius Rucker supporting his newest solo album, Southern Style, on tour throughout the summer.
