This dad had a pretty unique way of stopping his daughter from posting things she shouldn’t on Facebook.
In a video that’s had more than 40 million views since it was posted in 2012, Tommy Jordan tells the story of how he grabbed a round of ammo and put bullets in his daughter’s laptop after he found out that she’d been complaining about having to do chores on Facebook.
“She chose to share this with the entire world on Facebook and block her parent’s from seeing it. Well, umm… she failed,” Johnson wrote in the description of the video, which shows his taking a gun to the laptop of his daughter, Hannah.
After telling his daughter that he’s going to tell the whole world about her secret Facebook posts, Jordan then reveals in the video “That right there is your laptop,” before adding, “This right here is my .45” and shooting the device several times.
Watch Tommy Jordan tell his story, and read out some of Hannah’s secret Facebook posts, in the video below:
Johnson then closes out the video by telling Hannah, “I hope you’ve enjoyed your little fiasco on Facebook. I hope it was worth all this.”
Johnson also gave more details about his details to shoot up his daughter’s laptop in the video’s description.
“Maybe a few kids can take something away from this,” he wrote after posting the video on YouTube, “If you’re so disrespectful to your parents and yourself as to post this kind of thing on Facebook, you’re deserving of some tough love. Today, my daughter is getting a dose of tough love.”
