Pairing ice cream and alcohol can be a somewhat dangerous thing to do. If you do it right, it can be refreshing and delicious, especially on a hot summer day. So how do you make these decadent treats? You’ll need to take some ice cream cones and cut them to a smaller, more traditional shot-glass size. Next, melt a little bit of chocolate and dip the rims of the cones into the chocolate.
You’ll also want to take a spoon full of chocolate and line the inside of the cone. Before it hardens, add a blanket of sprinkles on top of the chocolate. Stick the cones in the freezer for about ten minutes so the chocolate can cool completely.
For the filling, you’ll want to mix VERY soft vanilla ice cream with bourbon or your choice of liquor as weak or as strong as you’d like. Once you’ve mixed those two together, you’ll just fill each cup with the mixture and top them with a quick spray of whipped cream and a cherry on top.
