The wife of Backroad Anthem‘s lead singer Craig Strickland is asking for support as authorities continue to search for her missing husband.
Helen Strickland shared a simple but powerful message through her Twitter account on Tuesday as news of her husband’s disappearance spread.
We love you Craig Michael. Come home. pic.twitter.com/Qiym6OrPiY

Strickland also confirmed in a previous tweet that her husband’s dog Sam had been found safe, but his boat had capsized.
On Dec. 26, Craig Strickland and his friend Chase Morland headed to Oklahoma for a duck hunting trip. Morland posted a tweet just hours before the pair left, apparently headed towards bad weather.
In case we don't come back, @BackroadCRAIG and I are going right through Winter Storm Goliath to kill ducks in Oklahoma.
Strickland and Morland’s families contacted authorities after the pair did not return from their trip. On Monday, authorities discovered the pair’s boat capsized in Kaw Lake. 22-year-old Morland was found dead in the area later that afternoon. As of Tuesday afternoon, authorities are still searching for Strickland with a sonar boat in Kaw Lake.
Strickland is the lead singer of Backroad Anthem, a country group from Arkansas who recently opened for Gary Allan and Dierks Bentley. The band has asked fans to use the hashtag #PrayersForCraig to help support his family and rescue efforts.
