Valentine’s Day is upon us, and country singer Craig Campbell‘s family found a way to bring smiles to country music fans’ faces.
Equipped with a guitar and the accompaniment of his seven-year-old daughter, Preslee, Campbell took to Facebook to show that talent extends through the branches of his family tree. Lending their voices to the Caitlyn Smith, Justin Weaver and Meghan Trainor-penned No. 1 hit “Like I’m Gonna Lose You” (Trainor and John Legend), Campbell and his daughter crooned an especially unique version of the tune.
This is a notable example of an artist who takes his Daddy/Daughter time to heart, supporting his young child’s love for singing and giving her a large stage on which to perform; and if the Facebook comments, likes, and shares are indicative of applause, the duet received a standing ovation.
Craig Campbell is signed to Broken Bow Records’ subsidiary Red Bow Records. Campbell released his first album, Tomorrow Tonight, and the title track as the lead single in mid-2015. The sophomore single off the album, “Outskirts of Heaven”, was released to country music radio last month and peaked, thus far, in the Top 30.
