In the early hours of June 11, the deadliest mass shooting in American history took place inside of Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Fla. A lone gunman, identified as Omar Mateen, executed a deadly terrorist attack inside of the building, leaving 50 people dead and 53 injured. Around 5 a.m. a SWAT team stormed Pulse and killed the gunman, ending the nearly three-hour hostage situation.

The identities of a majority of the victims have yet to be released as the crime scene is still being investigated and families are being notified.

Just like the rest of us, country stars took to Twitter to express absolute disbelief and shock over the news of the shooting, sharing their support and love to those affected.
