Kacey Musgraves and rising artists Maren Morris and John Moreland performed at the Spotify House at SXSW 2016 in Austin on Wednesday.

Wednesday’s showcases spotlighted artists from country and Americana that are getting heavy rotation on Spotify, the popular music-streaming service.

Native Texan Musgraves headlined the day’s showcases. She took the stage in the humidity of the evening donning a long-sleeved dress, which she joked about on stage. “I’ll just sweat out the Bloody Mary I had a minute ago.” Her set included songs from her two acclaimed albums, Pageant Material and Same Trailer Different Park.

Musgraves’ confidante, Morris, also performed on the main stage earlier in the day. Both Musgraves and Morris, who is also a native Texan, just returned stateside from the Country to Country music festival in United Kingdom.

Watch Morris perform her single “My Church,” which she dedicated to her mom watching in the audience.

John Moreland was one of the buzzworthy Americana songwriters to perform on the Porch stage at the Spotify House. Moreland’s most recent album, High On Tulsa Heat, was one of the strongest Americana releases of 2015, and it helped the songwriting talent breakthrough to a wider audience.

Watch Moreland perform his single “Heart’s Too Heavy” on the Porch stage.
