Cole Swindell looks back on a love that’s come and gone in his new video for “Middle of a Memory.”
Following in the footsteps of his emotional clip for “You Should Be Here,” Swindell gives a cinematic look at the beginning, middle and end of a relationship. Shot in various locations around Nashville, viewers are shown just how unexpected heartbreak can be.
From the first few spark-filled moments to the epically painful ending, it’s a realistic view into a relationship that somehow just wasn’t meant to be. Check it out below.
I have to give props to Swindell for his acting chops, which will make you want to hug him once he pulls out that now ill-fated diamond ring. He always knows how to tap into the emotion of the song to get listeners invested without getting too gloomy.
Swindell is currently preparing for his Down Home Tour with CMT, which will kick off in October. To coincide with the tour, he’ll also release his Down Home Session III EP later this year. You can find more info on his music and upcoming tour dates at his official website.
