Chris Young has been no stranger to spreading Christmas cheer this holiday season.
The “Think of You” singer partnered with the Country Music Association to host a toy drive benefitting children affected by the Gatlinburg wildfires. Young also participated as part of Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountains Rise telethon, raising money for families that lost their homes in the wildfires. Earlier this week, Young took to Twitter with hopes of giving back to his own fans.
8 days until Christmas 🎄! What's on your wish list this year?

Shortly after Young tweeted out “8 Days Until Christmas! What’s on your wish list this year?” he began to see the selflessness of his fans. Many were asking for charitable donations rather than small gifts from Young.
Instantly, Young was floored by his fans’ generosity. One fan declared her wish was already granted, after her husband completed a quadruple bypass surgery. So, in her husband’s honor, Young donated $500 to the SPCA. Another fan said her wish was to be cancer free, so Young gave $500 to the American Cancer Society.
That's amazing news! Merry Christmas. What charity should I donate $500 to in his honor?? https://t.co/7lsTxSsZja

Needless to say, Young’s charitable spirit is something for us all to aspire to, not just during Christmas Season, but all the time.
