Hear Chris Stapleton's Romantic New Track 'Millionaire'

Country star Chris Stapleton is giving fans another taste of what's to come from his upcoming record From a Room: Volume Two. Early this morning (Oct. 20), he dropped his new cut "Millionaire," and it certainly doesn't disappoint.

"Millionaire" is a trademark Stapleton that seems to channel more of the sound of his hit debut Traveller than the jam-heavy From a Room: Volume One. But the track was actually written and originally recorded by Austin-based singer-songwriter Kevin Welch.

Still, Stapleton has a way of making any song seem like it was penned just for him. From a Waylon Jennings classic to George Strait, he makes it all his own. With "Millionaire," he brings a sweet and uplifting message that all of us could use right now.

"Love is more precious than gold, can't be bought and it can't be sold," he sings. "I've got love enough to spare, that'll make me a millionaire."

All in all, Chris Stapleton's "Millionaire" is just another strong signal that From a Room: Volume Two may just be one of the strongest releases of the year. You can snag it when the record officially drops on Dec. 1.
