Country superstar Chris Stapleton is gearing up to get back on the road after a finger injury caused him to postpone three weeks of concert dates.
Last week, he revealed that a broken bone and a detached tendon in his right index finger made him unable to play shows for the coming weeks. This forced the postponement of multiple dates and the cancellation of his appearance at Nashville’s upcoming CMA Fest.
But fear not, Stapleton junkies. He’s already mapped out new dates for his previously-scheduled shows, and you won’t have to wait very long to see him. This month’s stops have been moved to Aug., Sept. and Oct. of this year. Although there isn’t a makeup date for his Nashville stop, fans will likely get to see him back in town by the end of 2017.
