Earlier this week, Chris Stapleton made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in support of his new album. But instead of immediately performing a cut off From a Room: Volume 1, the country star opted to have a little fun with fellow guest Kevin Bacon.

The two paired up for a skit titled “First Drafts of Rock.” After strapping on some massive beards and grabbing some fuzzy guitars, they demonstrated what the first version of ZZ Top’s signature hit “Legs” might sound like. Hear it for yourself below.

Although Stapleton is known for his impeccable vocals and songwriting skills, he never misses an opportunity to show off his goofier side. And yes, he can make things like “butt cheek” and “nostrils” sound pretty rock and roll. Props to you, Chris.
