Fixer Upper stars Chip and Joanna Gaines have expanded their beloved Magnolia Silos retail area to include a stop for some unique sweet treats.
Earlier today (June 29), the HGTV stars opened a brand new bakery on their expansive Waco, Texas property. Although much of the store and its products are adorned with the name “Magnolia Flour,” KWTX reports that the name is officially “Bakery at the Silos.” Visitors to the shop can choose from an array of cookies, cupcakes, biscuits and muffins.
The menu was picked by Joanna Gaines, who has had a love for baking since she was a child, and includes unique snacks like a cranberry orange biscuits. There is also a specially-designed “shiplap” cupcake, which pays homage to Gaines’ love for the old school wall panelling.
The bakery is conveniently located directly next to the Gaines’ incredibly popular store Magnolia Market, where fans can buy furniture and other home goods featured on their show.
It’s been an eventful few months for the Gaines, who have been snapping up properties to restore across Waco, including this historic home. On a sadder note, police are still on the lookout for the person who shot and killed two of the Gaines’ farm goats earlier this month.
