Charles Kelley, Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay Get Introspective in ‘The Driver’

In their new video for “The Driver,” Charles Kelley, Dierks Bentley and Eric Paslay spend some quality time together in Nashville.

The solo debut from the Lady Antebellum frontman has earned a lot of buzz since its release in September. The poetic track reflects on the ups and downs of life on the road, and the journey that led them there. In the new video, the three talented musicians swap verses as they drive around the Music City before enjoying a lighthearted poker game and jam session inside an empty Ryman Auditorium.

Kelley’s first single has been one of the most surprising releases of 2016, opting for more substance than the highly-produced sparkle that accompanies every hit Lady A track. His killer voice still stands in the spotlight when accompanied by two of country’s best performers, which is an ability that only comes from years of performing in a group.

More of Kelley’s solo project will be released in early 2016. Before that, he’ll hit the road for his first solo tour with support from newcomer Maren Morris. The tour is set to kick off Nov. 28  in Cleveland, Ohio at the House of Blues, and will continue through late February.
