Charles Kelley has announced a string of new U.S. tour dates in support of his upcoming solo album, The Driver.
The two-month tour kicks off April 9 at The Fillmore in Washington, D.C. A majority of the dates are rescheduled stops from Kelley’s previously cancelled club tour with Maren Morris that was set to kick off in December. Many fans voiced their disappointment over the handling of the cancellations, which in some cases were announced only hours before the show was scheduled to take place. This set of dates will feature support from singer-songwriter – and Charles’ younger brother – Josh Kelley.
All tickets purchased in advance will also come with a free download of Kelley’s debut album, The Driver, beginning on Friday, Feb. 5.
“This album was all about just making something I could be really proud of,” Kelley said in a press release. “So, to hear some of the early feedback that people are into the handful of songs that we’ve shared so far really confirms that taking this creative risk was worth it. It’s going to be great to get back out on the road now that we’ve got a full album of new songs to work with, and to have my brother out there with me is going to make it even cooler.”
