The demand for unique homes is on the rise! There’s open and airy like this Wisconsin barn home, and then there’s cozy and secluded like this cave home located in Brisbee, Ariz.
Cathy and Randy Clark bought property that they loved, but there was nowhere to build a home on it. They heard a huge boom one day and wandered to find someone building a cave home. The Clarks immediately loved the idea and decided to follow suit.
The three bedroom, three bathroom cave home may look small, but it’s actually 2,568-square-feet. It features a kitchen, dining room, living room and a loft sleeping area.
When you need a little sunlight, you can spend time on the deck that overlooks the beautiful mountain scenery.
In the back of the house, the Clark’s discovered a spring. They filter water through 80-feet of granite straight into their living area. They get nearly 20 gallons a day!
Good news, Arizona residents with an affinity for hobbit-style homes — The cave house is currently for sale by the owners! For nearly one-million dollars it could be all yours.
