The first round of performers for the 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards has just been announced.
Carrie Underwood, Kenny Chesney, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban and newcomer Cam will each take the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Additional performers are expected to be announced over the coming weeks.
This year, Dierks Bentley will replace Blake Shelton as co-host for the event alongside fellow chart-topper Luke Bryan. Breakthrough singer-songwriter Chris Stapleton leads the pack with seven nominations, including Male Vocalist of the Year and Album of the Year for his solo debut, Traveller. The rising star is closely followed by Eric Church and Cam, who each received six nominations respectively.
The award show will follow a week of celebrations and events, including the annual Party for a Cause three-day music festival. The event will feature sets by Underwood, Stapleton, Chesney and Bentley, as well as Sam Hunt, Kip Moore, Chase Rice, Kelsea Ballerini, Brandy Clark, Chris Janson and more. You can read the full lineup and find additional ticketing information on the ACM Party for a Cause website.
The 51st annual Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live on CBS on April 3.
