Carly Pearce stopped by the backstage of the Grand Ole Opry for the Opry's Radio Replay replay series and delivered a gorgeous rendition of future tour mates Dan+Shay's song "Tequila."

Pearce, who recently made her 50th appearance on the Grand Ole Opry, expressed her love for the hit song.

"On my way in tonight I heard Dan and Shay's 'Tequila,' which is one of my favorite songs on the radio right now," Pearce said in the intro before launching into the cover.

Pearce's cover captures the emotions of longing, remembering and regret that the song expresses as she sings "When I taste tequila, baby I still see ya, cuttin' up the floor in a sorority t-shirt, the same one you wore when we were sky high in Colorado/ your lips pressed against the bottle/ swearing on the Bible baby I'd never leave ya/ I remember how bad I need ya when I taste tequila."

The song, written by Dan Smyers, Nicole Gallyon and Jordan Reynolds, is currently No. 1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. It's the first No. 1 song for the duo Dan+Shay, made up of Shay Mooney and Dan Smyers.

In June, she won a 2018 CMT Music Award for Breakthrough Video of the Year for "Every Little Thing."

In August, Pearce will join Dan+Shay on Rascal Flatts' Back to Us Tour before joining Luke Bryan's What Makes You Country Tour in September.
