Watch Carly Pearce Perform Soulful Cover of Dolly Parton's '9 to 5'

Rising artist Carly Pearce put her own spin on Dolly Parton's trademark tune "9 to 5" during a recent visit to The Bobby Bones Show.

Covering the country queen was a natural choice for Pearce, who started off her career as a performer at Parton's Tennessee theme park, Dollywood. But it takes talent to be able to transform the boisterous 1980 track into something a little more laid back and soulful.

Watch the entire live performance below.

It's been a busy year for the 27-year-old Kentucky native. Pearce is still making waves on the charts with her heartbreaking debut single "Every Little Thing." Last year, she got her first taste of success when "Wasn't That Drunk," her recording with Josh Abbott Band, made it to the Top 40 of Billboard's Country Airplay charts.
