David Nail recruited rising country duo Brothers Osborne for his infectious new single, “Good at Tonight.”
After taking a break from the music scene to care for his newborn twins, Nail is celebrating the arrival of his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Fighter. Extra time spent at home and in the studio over the last year allowed the Missouri native to focus on perfecting his new sound.
“It’s going to be good,” Nail told Rolling Stone Country in a recent interview, “But I feel weird saying that, because every artist says, ‘This is the best album [I’ve] ever made.’ But since we were able to do it mostly all in one sitting, the theme of the record fits more front-to-back than any other record I’d made in the past.”
The album’s first track, “Good for Tonight,” is a anthemic song that’s perfect for turning up loud on your way downtown this weekend.
The deep and rolling vocals of TJ Osborne blend perfectly alongside Nail’s, creating a collaboration that is surely bound for the top of the charts.
Fighter, available in stores now, also features collaborations with Lori McKenna on the track “Home,” Logan Brill on “Champagne Promise,” and Vince Gill performs on “I Won’t Let You Go.”
