Brett Eldredge to Celebrate Fifth No. 1 Song with an Underwater Concert

Lorie Liebig

Brett Eldredge is heading under the sea to celebrate his fifth career No. 1 single. During a recent interview, the singer gave a little insight into his plans.

“I have a certain cave in an undisclosed place right now, until I film it,” he explained. “You have to swim underwater to get in the cave and then there’s the most amazing acoustics inside.”

Yes, the “Wanna Be That Song” singer is really planning a concert inside an underwater cave. That is, if he can get his guitar and all the necessary equipment down there too. So far, Eldredge has come up with many crazy celebrations for his past No. 1 singles. He’s already been skydiving, swimming with sharks and ghost hunting.

He still has two more No. 1 hits to go before he can officially start on his underwater dreams. Eldredge says his next singles will not be from his latest release Illinois. He’s been busy at work in the studio on new material, which will likely be a little different than anything else he’s released.

“Sometimes you discover some sounds you didn’t even know you were going after,” he says.

Fans can expect to hear new tracks from Brett sometime in early 2017.
