Luke Combs Brings Grit and Twang to Brooks and Dunn's 'Brand New Man'

Rising artist Luke Combs sang his heart out with a rendition of Brooks and Dunn's classic song, "Brand New Man," on the Bobby Bones Show.

During his acoustic performance, he sang with so much emotion you would think it was actually a Combs original. Check it out below.

Combs is a North Carolina native and a no-frills kind of singer who is unapologetically true to himself. We've first sang his praises over a year ago, when his independently released single "Hurricane" started earning a ton of streams. Since then, he's earned a dedicated following and is one of our rising artists to watch for 2017.

You can catch Luke Combs out on the road with Brantley Gilbert and Tucker Beathard for Gilbert's The Devil Don't Sleep Tour. The trek kicks off on Feb. 3 in Pennsylvania, but you can find a full list of tour dates at Combs' official website.

Brooks and Dunn's "Brand New Man" Lyrics:

I saw the light,
I've been baptized,
By the fire in your touch,
And the flame in your eyes.
I'm born to love again,
I'm a brand new man.

Well the whole town's talking,
'Bout the line I'm walking,
That leads right to your door.
Oh how I used to roam,
I was a rolling stone.

I used to have a wild side,
They say a country-mile-wide,
I'd burn those beer joints down.
That's all changed now.
You turned my life around.

I saw the light,
I've been baptized,
By the fire in your touch,
And the flame in your eyes.
I'm born to love again,
I'm a brand new man.

I used to love 'em and leave 'em,
I'd brag about my freedom,
How no one could tie me down.
Then I met you.
Now my heart beats true.

Baby you and me together,
Feels more like forever,
Than anything I've ever known.
We're right on track,
I ain't looking back.

I saw the light
I've been baptized
By the fire in your touch
And the flame in your eyes
I'm born to love again
I'm a brand new man

I saw the light,
I've been baptized,
By the fire in your touch,
And the flame in your eyes.
I'm born to love again,
I'm a brand new man.

I'm born to love again,
I'm a brand new man.
