In his new video for “Country Nation”, Brad Paisley hits the field with favorite college football mascots.
The creative video was filmed in various parts of Nashville, Tenn. including Vanderbilt University’s football field. Over two dozen college football mascots are seen filling the shoes of everyday blue-collar workers. Instead of taking their familiar places on the field, the mascots work in factories, serve tea in cafes and even work on the farm.
It’s a clever way to represent football fans from all walks of life as one unified entity, without getting too serious. Paisley’s own mascot, Bobblehead Brad, even joins in on the fun when the mascots face off for a game of their own.
Football is playing a big part in Paisley’s life this fall. The country star is headlining ESPN’s College GameDay kickoff concert celebration, which will broadcast live 9 AM to 12 PM EST on Sept 5. The next day, he’ll kick off his Country Nation College Tour at Virginia Tech University. He’s then scheduled to visit the University of Texas, Baylor University and the University of Arkansas within the first two weeks of the month. Additional tour dates are expected to be released in the coming weeks.
