Blake Shelton is headed to the races this spring for a special performance before this year’s Indianapolis 500.
The country star has been tapped to headline the annual Legends Day Concert, which will be held May 28 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The event, which will be held the day before the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, will also feature performances by rising artists Chris Janson and Corey Cox.
Tickets for the concert are currently on sale for $40 to $75, and can be purchased through IMS.com or by calling (800) 822-4639. According to the Indianapolis Star, those who purchase tickets will also gain access to all Legends Day activities, including autograph sessions with former and current INDYCAR drivers and admission to the public drivers’ meeting.
Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line were previously selected as headliners for the Legends Day Concert in 2015 and 2014. You can find out more about the Legends Day Concert and Indianapolis 500 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway website.
Shelton is currently working on his tenth studio album before he begins filming a new season of the NBC singing competition show, The Voice. After his stop in Indiana, he’ll perform at a host of country music festivals, including Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisc. on July 1.
