Blake Shelton Tapped as Co-Host for Hurricane Harvey Telethon

Blake Shelton will help represent country music at an upcoming telethon to raise money for Hurricane Harvey victims.

The Voice star is reportedly set to co-host the Nashville segment of the Hurricane Harvey Benefit Telethon set for Sept. 12. Tennessee native Reese Witherspoon will stand alongside Shelton to introduce performances and special segments of the event.

Jamie Foxx and Texas native Hilary Duff will take over hosting duties in Los Angeles, while Good Morning America host and former NFL star Michael Strahan and artist Kelly Rowland will be broadcast from New York City.

The telethon is currently scheduled to only last one hour, but additional details are expected to be announced in the coming days. The event will be broadcast during primetime hours on most major networks.
