Blackberry Smoke Announce New Album, Unveil Lead Single

Atlanta-based Southern rockers Blackberry Smoke just unveiled a new single and announced details for a sixth studio album, Find a Light.  The follow-up to 2016's Like an Arrow: Flesh and Bone arrives April 6 via Earache Records.

The band's last two albums offered fans of old-school rock a refreshing new listening option while performing well on the country and Americana charts. Based on the blues-rock swagger and boogie-woogie swing of lead digital single "Flesh and Bone," rockers should be pleased with singer and guitarist Charlie Starr's latest songwriting efforts. Likewise, the country portion of the band's audience must be tickled pink to learn of the Amanda Shires collaboration.

Founding members Starr, bassist Richard Turner, drummer Brit Turner and guitarist Paul Jackson and keyboardist Brandon Still, a member since 2004, are a testament to seeing musical goals through. Formed in 2000, the band spent years on the road plying its craft before touring with home state country stars the Zac Brown Band introduced their brand of Skynyrd-loving rock 'n' roll to a broader range of listeners.
