Bart Crow travels through the winding hills and city streets of his home state of Texas in his new video for “Dear Music.”
The song itself presents a feeling of being lost on the road, wandering from town to town without a firm grasp on where he’s headed. That feeling of been engulfed by life on the road is visually represented by nearly 30 different locales, which fly by like an interstate town through a passenger side window.
“Music is so universal and can cross many boundaries if you’re open to allow it and I certainly feel that’s reflected in ‘Dear Music,'” Crow told Rolling Stone Country of his new video. “That being said I wanted the video to reflect that same border jumping so we flew to 25-30 locations across the United States to film a simple concept in multiple locations to reflect music’s love and diversity for all things, places, styles, etc. I believe we accomplished what we set out to do.”
Crow’s time on the touring circuit won’t be slowing down any time soon. He’s set to perform dozens of shows across Texas and the southeast through the end of the summer. You can find a full list of upcoming tour dates at his official website.
