Barefoot Ranch is a sprawling, 2,492-acre ranch located in Athens, Texas, located roughly an hour southeast of Dallas.
Kyle Bass, a Dallas-based hedge fund manager, is one of the property's three owners. He's currently leading efforts to sell the ranch, according to Chron.com. Bass famously bet against the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis in 2008. By the looks of the property, it's safe to say the risk paid off.
