Austin City Limits Festival Offers Refunds Following Las Vegas Shooting

The horrific shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas left 59 people dead, 527 injured and has understandably shaken many music fans. Now, the upcoming Austin City Limits Music Festival is offering refunds to ticket holders worried about their safety.

Austin 360 reported that so far, only two ticket holders have asked for refunds. According to the Austin American Statesman, concert authorities want to reassure the expected 75,000 concertgoers that they will be safe, but to expect increased security.

If you do want a refund, however, you can call Front Gate Tickets at 512-674-9300 or contact them via email.

The annual Austin City Limits Music Festival takes place over two weekends in mid-October, starting this coming weekend, Oct. 6-8. The festival continues the following weekend, Oct. 13-15.

This year, the lineup includes more country music acts than in previous years, including Brothers Osborne, Cody Jinks, Asleep at the Wheel, Midland and more.
