Astronaut Scott Kelley Reveals 2016 Houston Rodeo Lineup from Space

This lineup for this year’s Houston Rodeo is truly out of this world.

In a video shot from the International Space Station, Astronaut Scott Kelly helped reveal the star-studded lineup for the upcoming 2016 season, which runs March 1st through the 20th. This year’s lineup features some of the biggest names in mainstream country music.

The Band Perry, Chris Young, Jason Aldean, Cole Swindell, Miranda Lambert, Brett Eldredge, Luke Bryan, Darius Rucker, Billy Currington, Kenny Chesney, Kid Rock, Jake Owen, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban will represent country music in the arena at NRG Park.

Pop artists Jason Derulo, Shawn Mendes, Pitbull and Mexican groups Los Huracanes del Norte and Banda los Recoditos are also scheduled to perform on the main stage during the 2016 season.

Rising country artists from both Texas and across the country will also take the spotlight during the two week event. Zane Williams, Jason James, Sam Riggs, Justin van Sant, Trent Willmon, Cooper Wade, JB and the Moonshine Band, Bri Bagwell, Mike and the Moonpies and Josh Ward will also perform at The Hideout stage inside the rodeo grounds.

Tickets for all concerts go on sale Jan. 16 at 10 a.m. CT. through the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo website.
