Ashley Monroe's family just got a little bit bigger. The country singer and her husband John Danks welcomed a new baby boy earlier this week.
Dalton William Danks is the couple's first child together. Monroe revealed the happy news by sharing a series of adorable photos on her Instagram page.
Monroe and Danks, a former baseball player for the Atlanta Braves, were married in 2013. The pair announced their pregnancy on Christmas Day 2016 by posting an ultrasound picture on their social media pages.
Monroe is taking some time off the road to make some memories with her new son. But that doesn't mean she's stepping away from music for good. Her Pistol Annies bandmate and longtime friend Miranda Lambert recently revealed that the group is planning on dropping new music next year.

Monroe is one of many country stars welcoming new bundles of joy this year. Thomas Rhett, Shay Mooney, Justin Moore and Josh Abbott are among a few of the artists who grew their families during the first half of 2017.
