Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Ashley McBryde, known for her catchy and creative song "A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega," furthers anticipation for her debut major label album with  new single and music video "American Scandal."

McBryde proves herself again as a talented wordsmith, likening a love too strong to hide from the public eye to the Marilyn Monroe and John F. Kennedy affair. Its video captures more of a down-home vibe. The playing children and bar-hopping adults of Anywhere USA interact with McBryde, interspersed between footage of her latest trip to the tattoo parlor.

A current favorite of Eric Church, McBryde may be one of 2018's breakout stars. Her next career milestone likely comes on March 30, when Warner Music Nashville releases full-length album Girl Going Nowhere. Inspired by a teacher who scoffed at McBryde's songwriter dreams, the title serves as pick-me-up for artists struggling for a big break.

"A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega" and "American Scandal" are two of 11 McBryde co-writes featured on the album.
